Why we do what we do...

We've been playing music together for more than 11 years (well, more like 13 or so, but hey, any excuse to use 11). We all met during our time at seminary, jamming each week in a session we called music therapy. Fender Fella (his nickname choice) is a pastor and PhD from Baltimore. Scott "big bottom" Stolberg (yeah, we gave him that nickname) hails from Rockford, IL where he serves as a pastor. Paul "Sticks" Amlin (and hey, that's a cool nickname, right?).

Why 11? We think the movie Spinal Tap is hilarious. A mockumentary done by director Rob Reiner back in the day, we decided we could be at least as much fun as those guys. Their guitar player's amp goes to 11. So do we.
Each year, we gather together in a city around the United States to jam. We work hard for a few days to get ready, then we put on a show to raise money for a deserving non-profit in that city. We hope you'll come out and support Almost Home, a ministry dedicated to helping men in transition, giving them a place to sleep, job help, counseling, and so much more. Totally worth your time and $$.
